This animated data visualization tracks the increase in opioid-related drug overdose deaths in the U.S. from 1999 to 2020. Designed to raise awareness through clear, impactful visuals, the project transforms complex data into an accessible narrative. I created the graphics in Adobe Illustrator and animated the piece in After Effects, handling every stage from research to final render.
